PHYSICAL
APPEARANCE:
Dru has a minimalist kind of dress. Very little effort is put into her wardrobe. She wears the uniform at it's base level and doesn't try to get creative with it. She wears the pants version of the uniform and her street clothes tend to side more with a masculine level of dress. There's more jeans and t-shirts and no make up. She wears her hair in a pony tail most days, and doesn't do anything extra with it.
This girl is hella short. She's five foot, and used to being the shortest person in the room. Her disposition probably precedes her.

PERSONALITY
LIKES: humor, quidditch, the telly, mockery, gossip, free falling, flying, temptation, adrenaline, chaos, questionable decisions, irony, feminism, american portion sizes
DISLIKES: being mocked, condescension, stereotypes, her accent being made fun of, egos
PERSONALITY:
There's not many things that Dru doesn't halfass. She has a run of the mill kind of personality. She snickers at jokes, instead of giving fully belly laughs. She shoots for low Bs, high Cs, when she does homework. She doesn't over articulate herself, she doesn't find a lot of need to explain herself, even if someone has misunderstood her. It is what it is, and that's chill.
She doesn't put a lot of effort into a lot of things. At this school full of overachievers, she is as normal a teenager as possible. She wakes up five minutes before class and rushes through getting dressed. She doesn't have obsessive hobbies.
Dru likes to eat, and she likes to wing literally everything possible. These plagues at Gooseberry and this anonymous writer and most offensive things don't really bother her. They're not really obstacles for her. Because if anon is systematically trying to kill the student body, or just trying to befriend them all - that's not really Dru's concern. If it's her time to go, then it's just her time to go. If she catches a plague, then that's chill, she catches a plague.
On the flip side of her natural disposition of not particularly caring about anything specific, Dru does have a few areas that she cares about. In Quidditch, she puts in equal effort. Doesn't much enjoy the exercising, but she does fancy the adrenaline rush all the same. And she cares very much for her friends. Dru isn't great at conveying the care she has for her friends. She doesn't express herself very well in that way, she isn't a fan of moving heart to hearts. Her resting disposition is mostly dry one liners rather than comfort or encouragement. But she believes that being up for whatever her friends propose is the best way to convey that she cares very deeply for them. If they wanna go wander into the forest at midnight to hunt ghosts - she's down; if they wanna eat pie until they puke, she's game for that too.
Her entire life is mostly winging it and going wherever the flow of current events take her. If things escalate at grotto parties, then she's right there, moving with that escalation; if she gets shitfaced enough to black out, then that's just the fuck is gonna happen. She's gonna wing this shit until the day she dies.

HISTORY:
Dru was born in Derbyshire, England. Her youth was pretty standard. She grew up in a secluded sector in the south of Derbyshire. They didn't see a lot of cars, they didn't use telephones. Her parents were never overbearingly prejudice, they never had an actual issue with muggles, or muggleborns. They had an actual issue with fear. So they agreed to cut themselves off, and that cutting off had a lot of repercussions. The south wizarding sector of Derbyshire began to evolve their accents separate from the rest of derbyshire, creating a new dialect within the span of decades.
When Dru was eleven, she got sent to Hogwarts just like everybody else before her did and she was sorted into Gryffindor fairly quickly. She wasn't ever overachievingly smart, she wasn't especially cunning. She had a fire inside of her that the hat acknowledged and a bravery so pure it was very easily masked as sheer stupidity.
She quickly learned that the more she spoke, the more her natural accent stood out from the other kids. They took the mick outta her a bit in the beginning there. If she talked too fast or too naturally, her words didn't tend to make much sense here, because her dialect was too localized to where she'd come from in a way that she hadn't ever had to notice before.
So overtime, Dru learned how to slow it all down a bit, enunciate more, phase out her local slang that nobody seemed to understand. It enabled her to speak her mind more freely too, by removing that barrier she had between herself and others.
Hogwarts was a lot like hell for Dru. So much more emphasis was put onto school, and she didn't much like it. It was all boring to her. She wasn't a bad student by any stretch of the word, and she had a lot of potential, she just had no drive to cash in on that potential. The entire world is waiting right outside of the window and they were all stuck in here, in this ancient castle, writing with quill on parchment, listening to some ghost that died centuries ago tell them about history.
In Dru's third year, she tried out for quidditch and made the team, and it gave her a lot more activity than her education did. Steadily, she improved. It quickly became one of the few things she invested herself in, but she was still by no means an actual sports fan. She didn't care too much about memorizing statistics or talking shop - she just cared about doing.
In her fifth year, she sent an application to Gooseberry, because wouldn't that be awesome - to take herself out of this castle and taste a bit of that world out there? And the way she's heard it - these Americas are way more chill about this whole education thing, anyway.
At the end of her fifth year, she received an acceptance letter from Gooseberry. Her grades left something to be desired, but quidditch proved to be her saving grace. She showed exceptional ability on the pitch. Not exceptional enough to receive a scholarship. That was the only real hiccup and it forced her to show more investment by petitioning to her parents to shill out the tuition price of going to a school in America, a place that didn't even believe in free education.
In the end, they agreed to it. She was sent to Gooseberry, and sorted into Azurcrest. That year, she tried out for the house quidditch team, and made it. It was a pretty chill year. These Americans apparently loved a foreign accent, but she still had to slow it down just a touch more. They talked to much slower over here. Their accented sounded fat and round, like everything else over here, like they were savoring the words they spoke. It made their minds slower to picking up quicker words, so Dru adapted.
When the year was up, she debated on going back to Hogwarts, but in America - you could eat whatever you wanted to. It was like going camping for an entire year - a thing she'd never done before coming to America. You shared adorable cabins with five other girls, like a nine month long slumber party.
So she petitioned to stay for a second year, to finish out her education in America. It was a messier year, but she really dug the atmosphere. And also the tacos, and the nachos, and the funyuns - funyuns, a gift from the literal gods. She's gonna miss those most when she goes back home.
SCHOOL
YEAR: Senior
HOUSE: Azurcrest (formerly Gryffindor)
SORTING: It was really only torn between Ribbonfin and Azurcrest. She wasn't competitive enough for coppertale and she wasn't intensely focused enough for Ebonhide, but Azurcrest made the best argument. It was the chillest party house, and embodied winging it, so in the end it was no contest.
WAND: 9 and a half inch, Birch wood with a phoenix feather core, extremely bendy
FAMILIAR: A Black cat named Taco
CLASSES: Charms, Transfiguration, Herbology, DADA, Outdoor Education, astronomy, magizoology,
SENIOR PROJECT: Dru is... making a cook book. A magical cook book that can determine exactly what you're craving when you hold it, and reveal that fabulous recipe for you.
ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE: Dru believes that education is the real bummer in educational institutions. She doesn't like classes that require a lot of focus and most of her classes are chosen based on how much effort she has to put in them. But her grades actually aren't struggling that much - which suggests potential, if only she'd put her mind to it. She does best in Outdoor Education and astronomy. DADA is her hardest struggle and the class that requires the most effort, but she took it because she believes she probably should.
EXTRACURRICULARS: Boating, Gardening, LARP, OE and Quidditch
